HK 330c is the later (last) model - mid-1970's. They went 330 (late 60's), 330b (early 70's), and then finally 330c. Last is the best, in my opinion.

In my experience, the 330 is somewhat behind the bigger H/K:s soundwise. I would choose the Luxman over the H/K 330.

Sorry, haven't tried the H/K 450. But I was not too impressed with the 330B I once had when I compared it to a couple of other receivers. My impression is that the Luxman R1050 is more powerful and more "Hi-Fi" than the 330.
