Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! I am really enjoying this forum. There are a lot good people here. Also, this seems like a positive and inviting place to discuss audio and music. There’s seems to be a lot less drama than some forums. You know, the ones that are basically people arguing back and forth in ALL CAPS in anger in every thread. We are all audio lovers on this great journey. I think we should enjoy it together! People seem to get that here. Thanks again folks!

I pretty much eat, sleep, and breath audio and music. About six months ago, I took the plunge and left my boring real job to work at an audio store owned by a dear friend. I am now “living the dream” (as they say) and playing with audio gear. My interest in older gear is what led me here. There’s my little back story.
Haha gear? It’s funny you ask. I am going through a strange mosfet phase. I’m a tube guy, but I have been having a blast working on and listening to old mosfet amps lately. I am fixing up a B&K EX-442 as we speak. The recent mosfet phase started when I got a broken B&K Reference 125.2 for free from work because a customer had decided not to fix it. I got it running and it wasn’t a world beater, but I had an absolute blast fixing that little amp. It brought back memories of fixing up a Hafler in my high school days. So that’s what I have been playing with lately. As far as speakers and sources, that jumps around quite a bit :D
