I've just recently started to dip my toe in the Jazz pool... there's so much out there - it's a whole new world. Some sounds a bit too "advanced" for me at the moment but I'm enjoying the learning curve.

Oh and Welcome from Texas!

Welcome from Jacksonville! Jazz is good. I just picked up a double album by The Crusaders last week. Loving it!

Hyundai guy here. How do you guys manage the audio hobby with those constant, expensive german car repairs? Eventually the law of diminishing returns has to kick in, right? :)

Boxster? Intermediate shaft? This issue steered me away from the Boxster entirely. I have no patience for car problems either. I've had my Tiburon since 2002 and after 181k miles, I've probably spent $1000 in repairs total, not including normal wear and tear/maintenance, over the last 11 years. Talk about manufacturing quality.

I am looking at the 2-seater roadster segment, and may check out some low mileage early 2000's Miatas, for fun, and to keep the miles off the Tib.

I see you have the KEFs I have the KEF105IIs for a long time. They are in service every day since they came out. Was it in the '80s? I bought the new. I used to have the 104AB which was also a great speaker.

Mine are the KEF K120's. I got these for $40 off craigslist. the K1_0 series were made from 91-93 I believe. I love mine. I have a P5 coming in and will be moving my RP1 to the bedroom on the KEF K120/Cambridge A500 system. Can't wait to hear what phono will do for the KEF's.
