Bruce Springsteen country
I lived for a time in my youth in Colts Neck, when it was mainly farms. They are all gone now and a bunch of McMansions are in their place, or so I hear. My girlfriend lived in Freehold, on a farm! That is gone too, no doubt.
I too have a Miracord, its the Model 50 and it is not working - either.

Bruce lived across the street from a high school friend of mine (in Freehold). As he is older than I am old, he had already left home and his family left for California at the time of my friendship. I found out, in recent times, that Bruce's family moved into a neighboring town (San Mateo) ... to where now I live. Strangely enough they lived in the same neighborhood that my son's high school girlfriend lived in. Of course separated by many years.
So, i live in Bruce country too, sort of.
