For sale locally but guy doesn't know what model. Pictures of the serial numbers attached - 15195 and 18969. Thanks for any info.

Those look more like the last generation of A25's but the one on the left has what looks like a Phillips tweeter in place of the original. If cheap enough, could be OK but still have the cost in a stock tweeter to get them original.

Those are way bigger than A10's and their 6.5" woofer. Even in comparison to the receiver they are next to.

One appears to have a 40-1276b Realistic replacement tweeter.

I'm guessing it is the Panasonic "clone" of the Philips AD0160- which was sold, IIRC, by Radio Shack for a while- so you may well be correct.

Just never seen anA25 with the tweeter aligned with the woofer like that? Seller is the original owner and says he bought them in 1979.
 
They are American made Dynaco A25XL speakers (using SEAS drivers). I have never seen the insides of one, but the tweeter looks to be the HO86 and the woofer looks the same too.
