Help identifying vintage Ortofon cartridge

Greetings all. I was hoping you could assist me in identifying this Ortofon cartridge/headshell. It came with a Thorens TD124, along with the Ortofon STM-72 transformer.

Thanks in advance for your help!

That cartridge is worth a retip and a better MC phono amp. The STM is a nice enough unit but there has been a lot of improvement over the years.

I am not at all an expert but i don´t think its an "SPU-cartridge". Id say its some 60´s Ortofon cart (perhaps some SL-15) in an type G headshell/body.

It most certainly is a SPU cartridge, and a fine one too. Normally you will see the name of the unit inside the headshell, but not allways. I would guess it to be a SPU GT-E, the one with the integrated transformer in the shell. I sold one a couple of years ago on that auction site, with a NR price, and iirc it sold for nearly 900 dollars.
They are a real pain in the ... if you have a magnetic platter, due to the transformer.
