They kind of look like some of the Bose 401 models?
I recently bought some Bose 401's that were older than your
speakers. I think that Bose made a 401 series that looked like that?
They could be cheaper speakers that were part of a package deal stereo?
don't let anyone tell you that they are junk of you like the sound.
That's all that really matters as far as I am concerned.
anyway, How much did you pay?

I havent bought them, they are available at an estate sale. I want to ID them before I waste my time...

They look sort of Paradigm-ish to me, sorry I can't be of any real help. I would expect to be able to see the "P" on the front though.

Phase Tech? Mirage? I'd look at the bottom to see if there is a input plate. I would guess from the look of the other equipment -- looks like a Rotel and some other stuff -- that they might be good quality.

One thing is for sure,
Quality manufacturers usually put a plate on the back to state their
company name, Speaker model number and rated wattage.
if they are Bose, they will say Bose where the speakers hook up.
Same with most brands.

Thanks for the info... I dont think I will be making the trip for these. I was hoping they were something special thet were recognizable... Thanks though!

 OK I'm going.

I will take my laptop, I'm sure in that neighborhood I can find a wifi signal.

If I get a bead on em, and dont know what they are, I can hop on here and ask.

Sale starts tomorrow at 10:00AM. SO BE HERE!:D

My luck I get there and they're White Van.... they look awfully suspicious...

Honestly, that was my first thought, too. But, given the responses to this thread, I'd take the chance. Paradigm, Mirage, & Energy have been mentioned. That stuff ain't junk.

BIC Ventura. Not that much info out there on these. $75, child abused. Polk powered subwoofer, $75.... Big Dennon AV receiver, $299!!!

I left.
