As I said above, it will almost assuredly be just fine. Perhaps not perfectly optimized, but unless you move into higher end carts and a phono amp with adjustable capacitance and impedance loading, no reason to worry about it.

Choose a budget, identify cartridges within it, read reviews, buy one.

Most modern carts are of "medium" compliance, and will be fine with your medium-mass tonearm. Assure weight is in proper range (most will be) and that it has no special needs regarding capacitance or impedance (in your system, 200pF and 50Kohm, respectively).

Question : is there such thing as an in line phono amp that goes between the TT and Receiver that would give me more adjustability. Work in conjunction with my phono amp in my receiver if that makes sense.

If you use an external phono amp, you would need to bypass the internal phono amp. You do so by plugging the TT into the external phono amp, and the external phono amp into an available line-level input (AUX, TAPE IN, TUNER, etc).

You would need to find a phono amp with capacitance options below 100pF, or you would not be gaining anything on this front.
