Help sansui 9090db No AM at all nothing also no FM stereo

Ok here we go. 1- f-2619 6.6v at fuse f03 and d01 tested good. 2- voltage from f-2619 pin1 to f-2653 pin17 12.17v. 3- had problems finding voltages off f-2653 pin k and pin l through d601 d601 had .650v. 4-pin1 on 2619 12.31v on fm 0v on am same at pin18 on f-2549 pin 31 on tuner board 11.53v only on fm. i am at a loss ready to toss it out a window...thanks Pete

You may be on to something here. You should have voltage on pin 18 (K) of the tuner board in two positions of the function switch. Monitor pin 18 and cycle the function switch through all positions. You should see voltage there in two different positions of the function switch.

Sometimes the switch wafers get out of position.

i will look into that, i did remove that switch and cleaned the wafers because they were black and not making any contact. i took plenty of photos and will have to review them. What still concern's me is why i don't have any voltage on pin's 15 and 18 on F-2656. i was given this unit by my next door neighbor in the original box after sitting in his garage for 20 years. i also ran the unit with out the tuner section connected until i read that is a no-no. thank again for all your time and help Vinny
