Help with Console rebuild

Hi, I have an old (appears to be late 60's) console that I'm updating with modern components and I need some help with equipment recommendations for the space available. I'm trying to do this on as small a budget as possible and still get reliable/decent components. I picked up a Denon AVR-1913 receiver and some Sonance 6 1/2" MAG6R speakers for very cheap. I'm looking for recommendations on a subwoofer/plate amp and updating the enclosure. The console is built from 1/2" and 3/4" plywood with maple veneer, so I plan to build new enclosures inside the current console from MDF.

Based on the console layout, I'll have to co-locate the subwoofer on the same side as one of the Mid/Tweeters. The entire cavity is 15" x 15 1/4" x 13", I think I can use the majority of that for the subwoofer enclosure (9" x 15 1/4" x 13").

Can anyone help with recommendations for subs, plate amps, and enclosure designs/tips? I've been looking at a Dayton RSS210HO-4 8" driver and a SPA250DSP plate amplifier for reference.

Thanks in advance!IMG_2193.jpg
