From the mat and the counterweight, I think it's a stock Akai table (I could be wrong). I recently repaired one for a customer that looked pretty much the same. Those have a rubber bushing holding the stub in place and it deteriorates. I was able to get is slightly less angled (and still functional) using super glue.

As for the cart, I really have no idea from that angle. I can tell you it's not a Stanton, Pickering, or Shure. If it is a stock Akai, it might've come with an Osawa (I've seen that combo before) or possibly a Nagaoka. The Osawas that I've seen have ridges on the stylus housing though. Kinda looks AT-ish as well, but lots of carts do.

And the top cartridge leads are connected incorrectly
You sure about that? We're not absolutely sure it's an Ortofon. And some carts (the Pickering V-15 comes to mind) employ that red-blue, white-green scheme as opposed to the normal one. I'm just sayin' . . .

It's definitely an Ortofon, maybe an F15E Mk2. It is wired incorrectly (the grounds are reversed) and would be for a V-15 too. The V-15 looks quite a bit different, actually. It does use that sort of oddball diagonal channel arrangement but as a mirror image of the way that Ortofon's been done.

And the VinylEngine comes through again! That turntable will be any one of several direct drive Akais, like the AP-D30, AP-D33, AP-D40, AP-Q55, AP-Q60 and some others. Can't tell which from that photo.

So Akai direct drive and Ortofon F15 series.

Hi,

Presumably the stylus has no markings, so I'd assume its a basic aftermarket
needle, the body is an Ortofon VMS type. There are differences in the key
into the body, impossible to say without a picture of the stylus only.

rgds, sreten.

Hi,

You can say what it is with a presumably aftermarket stylus fitted.

+1 though for it looking exactly like a VMS3E from years ago.

I had one, not that impressed with it, somewhat overdamped.

The turntable is an AKAI, probably AP-D40, AP-D50, AP-D35.

I don't like them, too much plastic. (Have disassembled them)
