You can use 10R or 50R for R1 and R9 and 120R for R2, R10

having the system dismantled briefly for painting, i finally pried the AT33PTG out of the Linn and installed/aligned the Benz Micro Glider SM (for some reason, it was a bit more particular to get it right visually than the AT). i then changed out the resistors on the HTMCPS: nice Dale 120R for the 220R in R2/R10 and a parallel combo of 47.5R for the 10R in R1/R9. i also took the opportunity to roll some different tubes in the pre/amp, so any individual change is a bit hard to pin down at this point.

nonetheless, i am really liking what i'm hearing, and the overall result is better with the Benz. surface noise is a bit more muted, the background hiss from the preamp is lower since gain is set lower, and the cartridge just sounds bigger and more relaxed. if i ever get motivated enough to do so, i may try lowering the 47.5R "loading" resistor to something like 34R to see what change it makes. initially, i thought that upper strings seemed a bit muted compared to the cello and bass...
