EDIT: That was pretty funny...and true. Gotta love how Bose pushes their "revolutionary" gear.

I'm torn between, "But . . . I like Wonder Bread," and "You don't get it."

It's taken me a long time to "get it" that some people don't like the idea of needing multiple pieces of equipment strung together with wire and dominating at least one wall of your living space to bring music into your life. "I want everything in one box. I want the sound to come out of the box." This is a sentiment I've heard from several Bose owners, who happily have a single box on an end table or bookshelf and are genuinely excited to share new music they are discovering (e.g., song lyrics that moved them, an old classic transcribed for different instruments, comparing the techniques of Heifetz and Grumiaux on the same concerto), not worrying about whether or not they have state of the art sound.
 
I'm not a big supporter of Bose audio but...if you look at the Weather Report DVD of the group playing at Montreux Jazz Festival in 1976 Zawinul has a whole wall of black monitors/speakers that are clearly labeled "Bose" to amplify his keyboard rig. Apparently pro-audio grade since I don't think the group would settle for a system that sounded mediocre. Just a different perspective.

I'm on dialup at home so I've not seen this however, your comment made me think..."well...maybe for them it's more about the music"

My sister has a wave radio.... all she cares is that she's got something playing in the background "caring about the music". She doesnt' give a rats hiney about the quality of the sound (gear-heads??) just that she can hear her selections.
