Hi from Lecce, Italy.
I've just bought a Teac x-1000r and found this really good forum. Soon I'll ask for your help.

Welcome to AK Requenzinu.

Hey, how far are you from Naples? My mother was born there. I visited Naples where she lived as a baby back in 1981.
Of course, my mother was born in 1925.

Hello from Germany and welcome!

:beerchug:

I spent alot of time in Stuttgart. I would cash my paycheck at the bank by the main train ( Bonhauf ? not sure of the spelling) station and then go through to a gallery where there was all stores of all kinds on both sides. No cars. About half way up on the right was a record store. If I remember right, it was 4 floors of all records.

It was like LP heaven. By thew time I walked up and down both sides, I would have spent half my paycheck.

Of course, back then it was still German marks. The time I spent in Germany was the best time of my life. The people were the best in all of Europe.

Didn't mean to get off topic on this thread but this is the first person I have seen that is from Stuttgart. I was actually stationed in Boblingen. About 30 minutes from Stuttgart but I spent most of my off time in Stuttgart. Much more to do there.

I will be coming back to Germany soon. My wife is also from there. She is from up North in Oberkerchin. I didn't meet her in Germany though. She was already in the States. Long story how she got here. Maybe we could PM some time. I have lots of stories from Germany.
