How can a turntable influence the sound quality?

I never understood what people meant by this. The turntable turns the record that's it right? So if you use a decent turntable and the same arm and cartridge shouldn't the sound always be about the same even when you use a different turntable? A lot of people claim otherwise but I just don't understand how that would work it just doesn't seem logical to me. That's why I am asking this question I hope someone could explain this to me, thanks!

some tables impart/transport energy into the vinyl, some tables a little less, some tables a lot less

well, then you do understand. noise is noise. if it isn't music, it's noise. if it is music and noise, you have noisy music. two tables running the same arm/cart, the one that (usually) sounds better is the one with less noisy music.
Yeah I get that but I am talking about the people that claim that some turntables have more bas or treble than others or some that say that some players are more musical than others etc.

Level of Immunity to resonance and feedback from speakers. Build materials used, speed accuracy and drive type and quality all make a difference. There’s a point of diminishing returns just like every other audio component. So most people would be happy with say a Rega or other affordable belt drive and lots of different vintage direct drives to choose from, Technics, Denon JVC etc.

So a drum made from carboard and a real drum should sound the same?
For me, no. Why because the materials and construction. Same rule for everything in life.

That makes no sense did you even read my post ? I am not comparing a crosley and a linn sondek here. I am just talking about 2 turntables that are both decent. It makes no sense
OK, so is your question about the table, or the people?
What ? About the table of course again there are tons of people that claim that some tables have a different sound than others like more bass or more treble and I am just asking how this is possible since alot of people on this site even seem to think that this is indeed the case but I have personally never heard this or seen any reason as to why this would be the case

Sound lime we are beating a dead horse here

Was a rough comparation, regarding i noticed that you are not understanding. Thats all.
Good luck!

Thanks for explaining nothing and using abstract concepts that have nothing to do with my question ! I was hoping someone could actually explain this to me with some specs or papers to back up what they are saying. Hope you have a nice day!

'How can a tt influence sound quality' .............. lots of ways .........

noise, rumble, speed fluctuation , wow and flutter, suspended vs. non .............

It can be about how the arm handles resonance.
It can be about how well the table's frame isolates it from outside resonance.
It can be about how well the table isolates resonance from its motor.
Do you see a pattern here?
A table produces sound by directing resonance produced from the cart to the amp.
How well it does this without introducing other "unwanted" resonance determines how well it performs.
Then we can get into wow and flutter, speed control and accuracy.

Yes the pattern I see here seems the be that basically the only difference there should/could be is rumble background noise and stability right ? if so how come that people (including audiophiles) claim that some turntables for example have more bass than others ? (btw please correct me if I misunderstood what you meant)

So you have started 2 threads on Turntables and the sound and Quality of belt drives and idle drive and direct drives, Do you even own a Turntable?

yeah that makes sense but how does that influence the sound ? I mean some audiophilies claim that some turntables have more bass etc than others but the only effects these things should have are distortion rumble and background noise right?
