How Many Records Do You Have?

1800+

I've stopped buying in bulk to make my collection and now I'm focusing on quality and stuff I really like.

About 1300 + 150 45s.
Like many others I have stopped buying large lots and am going towards quality rather than quantity.
BTW the 45s will be sold as I have little interest in them.....someday.

About 100, but I only collect specific albums, usually rare releases or albums that hold special meaning to me because i've got my digital collection for the rest and i've probably spent as much on those 100 as other guys have on collections that triple it in number.

I haven't filled my half-speed master collection, so I'm going to go ahead and say that I don't have nearly enough!

I would estimate that I have around 3,500 in my collection, not including about 50 78s, which I will never listen to.

Got a collection of 1,800 in mint condition a while ago, and am still weeding through them.

Mostly Rock and Reggae, some Country, some Jazz classics and some Classical (very few).

Some cleaned, others in need.

Many duplicates, which I will trade for more desirable pieces.

Got a few rare Pink Floyd recently.

Damn . . . this is a fun hobby . . . :thmbsp::thmbsp::thmbsp:

Cheers

Hi. Im new here. I've just started back into vinyl after 20 years. So far I'm only up to about 200 lps. I kick my self every time I think about the records I gave away a long time ago.

Can anyone tell me why whenever I run across a copy of Gary Wrights 'Dream Weaver' that is less I than 2 dollars, I am compelled to buy it? I just picked up my 3rd copy in 2 months about an hour ago.

I feel sorry for my daughter and the 'legacy' I'm on course to leave her after I'm gone.

Just shy of 2k on lp's plus a small amount (50-100) of 7" & 10"

Of course Black Friday will change that 8)

I would also say 2 K , but it is not easy to estimate it more precisely. I have Lps here in my house and there and there and there...

Anyway, 120 Lps of Zappa (lot of boots) and more than 600 Lps of Johann Sebastian Bach are for me the most important part of my collection.

14 LP crates that are specifically made to hold records with enough extra height to stack them safely. That's roughly 1400 12" discs. Maybe 150 7" records, 1 box of 78's/10" LPs and about 200 CDs.

Edit: of the 1400 12" discs I would say that about 1,000 are definite keepers. The rest are either passing fancies or records that I haven't listened to yet that show some promise.

About 4000 LPs. Everything from Frank Sinatra to Frank Zappa, with a healthy dose of Jazz and a pretty extensive 60's-70's Rock collection.
