How often do you get a song stuck in your head?

Man o man, I have had Jeff Beck's "She's a Women" stuck in my head since I got up. It is a great tune, but I have replayed it 50 times already lol Can't shake it.
How often does this happen to you guys?

What is curious is how the song gets stuck.

Yesterday, I had a strange urge to hear the Clash's 'White Man in the Hammersmith Palais'. I hadn't listened to the album that is on for ages.

Then I realized it was a crossword clue I had solved the night before: 'A white man taking on domestic worker? No. (10)'.

There is always a song playing in my head.

It's the reason I keep my finger on the mute button while watching television, I have to defend myself from some nasty commercial jingle getting stuck in there.

Jeff Beck and The Clash, however, are always welcome.

Too often, and it's usually a song I hate. My upstairs neighbour and his lousy taste and loud stereo is usually to blame.

Bastiges! Just before clicking I was humming the Mexican Hat Dance. Not only did I not know why I was humming it, I had to ask my wife what the hell I was humming. Facepalm.

I get songs stuck in my head all the time, often wake up with one. I've learned to stop mentioning it to my wife, because she will "fix" the problem by singing a line from some much worse earworm.

i CAN HONESTLY SAY flymetothemoonTHAT I ALMOST NEVER andletmeplayamongthestars HAVE THAT HAPPEN TO ME. letmeseewhatspringislike I LISTEN TO MUSIC ALMOST CONSTANTLY, onjupiterandmars BUT FOR SOME REASON THERE NEVER SEEMS TO inotherwordsholdmyhand BE ANYTHING IN MY HEAD. inotherwordsdarlingkissme I REALLY DO ENJOY SINATRA fillmyheartwithsongandletitsingforevermore BUT ONCE I TURN OFF THE AMP IT'S GONE. youareallIwarshipallIlongforandadore.

Constantly. Today it's a twofer knocking around my head. They are - Mott The Hoople's All the way from Memphis and Blue Oyster Cult's Monsters.

"Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite, lookin' forward to a little Afternoon Delight, Rubbin' sticks 'n' stones together makes the sparks ignite, an' the thought of rubbin' You is so excitin'...Skyyyyyyyrockits in Flight...Afternoon Delight....Afternoon Deliiiiiiiiiight...."

Suffer, ye Bestidges ! Mbwahahahahahaha...!! HAPPY TURKEY DAY, ALL !

You could do much worse.

You could be at home with kid during the day. Those theme songs to kids shows are brutal to get out of your head. I've got the Harry And His Big Bucket of Dinosaurs theme in my head right now. Rock on!:music:

Agreed, kid show themes are the worst. My son has to watch Sponge Bob Square Pants everyday, not only the theme song but that damn laugh is always in my head. Even writing this, it started again, and my son isn't even home.
