How Would You Explain The Sound Of Your System To Another Enthusiast ?

How would you do this?

What words would you use to describe this to others , how would you ensure that that person understood clearly what you were hearing?

Could you easily define what were the strengths of your system and what are they?

Why do you believe you are getting a good accurate reproduction of the information in the medium you are using as a carrier ?

The description all depends on which speakers I have in rotation. If I have the Def Tech BP2000s in rotation, I would say it has a big sound stage. If I have the Focal 826Vs in rotation, I would say it sounds detailed.

My main system can blow your head clean off.

I know what you're thinking- with bass like that it's gotta have a subwoofer.

But does it?

Well?

Is it a 2.1 system or just a 2.0? Maybe it's a 2.1 and this is all he's got, but what if you're wrong and the sub's not even on yet? What if the bass hasn't even dropped yet?

Well? Feel lucky punk?

Very dynamic and clean. Stop by the house and check it out.
