Yeah, he's an interesting guy to be sure. Had dinner with him at CEDIA several years ago when he was launching his AV subwoofer/speaker venture... had been a dealer and involved with the brand for years but that was the first time I met him in person. Also had Karen Metros (longtime ADS exec that ran various departments over the years) there at the dinner along with Lee Adams of Nakamichi and Soundstream fame. I was very much the odd man out in that group but it was a good time with interesting people.
I am guessing this guy with the collection knows the former owner of ADST, who I believe either owned or was running the ADS distribution business in Canada along with some other audio interests he had, at the time he took control of ADS. He doesn't mention him by name but has to be the same guy as that's the only Canada ADS corporate connection I am aware of.
