I DIY'd Myself Some Speaker Stands

I put my jr high school wood shop skills to use and made myself a couple of speaker stands to get my JBL bookshelf speakers off the floor. Total cost was about $50 for the wood (just a 10x6 pine board and pre-turned legs from the local home improvement store). Just cut the board to length, sanded, stained and screwed the legs on.

Very nice!! And wood coloured too!

Very nice! Your diy stands look far more elegant than what I did. I went to Ikea and bought a pair of €10 ea pine stools. Still haven't applied a finish to them.

Cheers,
James

That seems like a perfectly valid solution as well and likely more economical.

inspired by your DIY stands, I went to walmart and found some
stools, natural color 4 legs tho but 24" high with round seat and I do not have to make them for $35
now waiting for delivery.
I really like what you buuilt tho.

My speaker stand build:
(4) 6" chair legs from Lowes
Square aspenwood cut at Lowes
