I Feel Sorry For This Guy in Houston

[HypnoToad]

This is a good deal on the speakers but I felt sorry for him when I read the ad to the end:

JBL to Bose... sounds like someone else may be influencing his decision..

[Sovereign]

Smokin deal for someone. Hey, as long as he's happy...

[Fisherdude]

Oh, somehow I don't think he's happy at all.

[audiodon]

Yeh, I get the feeling he knew exactly how what he was saying would be interpreted.

[Naptown Rob]

It's an ill wind that blows no good...some one will be getting some nice speakers.

[gladiator335]

Actually this is my favorite phrase: "We just upgraded to Bose". It usually means some great deals can be found...

[MeatInStereo]

I dont even need and more speakers and at that price if i was local i would snatch those up!

[HypnoToad]

I have six pairs, my wife would kill me.................

I told myself they would have been snatched up already.

[kortex]

If I was down there I would snatch those up in a heartbeat.

[electronjohn]

My wife would kill me, dig me up & kill me again...but I'd still buy 'em.

[vintageboy]

Smoking deal and I see they are still for sale

[similost]

So long as I can make a buck reselling what I don't keep, my wife is all good with me picking up speakers.. Hell, she brought me home a pair a couple weeks ago from a sale while I was out playing paintball...

Those turned into a lesson though... "Honey.. they need to weigh twice this amount, and the cabinet sides need to be 4 times as thick before they are even worth considering.."

She picked out a pair of EV Aristrocrat cabs for herself at AK fest... I have innards coming for them from Gordon... She has taste

We all started learning somewhere..

[hardrock94]

Still there..... If I was closer to Houston,I would definitely have another pair.

Actually this is my favorite phrase: "We just upgraded to Bose".

Not "I", but "We" :scratch2:

Oh, somehow I don't think he's happy at all.

I'm pretty sure Fisherdude is right on the money.

Can't believe nobody commented on the swapped woofers... looks like the 2113H from the L100 has been substituted for the correct 128H, and those mids don't look like original/correct LE5-12's either.

Given that and the homemade grills, $200 seems like a "nothing special" price...
