i might buy an accuphase e-305 but what speaker and cd

i might buy an accuphase e-305 but what speaker and cd player is good for that amp.
I have been looking at kef 104.2 would that be a good...

Can't go too wrong with that setup. More than adequate.
I run an Accuphase E202 with KEF 104ab's-not exactly the same but excellent results all the same.

Thats great, what kind of music do you play?
I have found the speakers just not sure if they are sold... then i need to find the amp.

Oh wow...I listen to everything. Classical, Jazz, rock. And I listen to almost every source type, except low bitrate mp3.
Accuphase should be the last stuff you will ever buy, or should I say the stuff that won't leave your home.

Of the dozens of source components, speakers, and pre-amps that have come and gone through my system the only constant has been my Accuphase P-300 amp. I'll never sell it, and I've borrowed a few well-regarded (and very expensive) amplifiers to compare but none have beaten it. I'll bet you would have a similar experience with the e305.

I play alot of rock but also blues, pop, jazz..
marantz might be better for jazz and blues or is that only some models?

I think accuphase cd-players are to pricy for me so

Go for the Accuphase! Regarding the CDP, there are many threads devoted to this subject. What is your budget? Are you looking for new gear or would you consider used equipment also?

i think a vintage cdp would be nice. But still kind of pricy an accuphase dp-80 was sold for about €500
Not sure how the dp-70 is priced, same year...

You can find many great used CDPs made by Naim, Cambridge Audio, Rega, Arcam, and others, for example. If you would consider even older players, you may look into the Philips/Magnavox units made in Belgium in the second half of the 80's and the Denon models of the same period with four digits models (e,g, DCD-2560).
