Got my hands on 6 compression drivers today. All the same,all marked 16ohms.
They measure 7.5 7.5 7.2 7.9 8.8 9.7 ohms are all but the last 2 8ohm ?

It's important to recognize that you are not measuring impedance....

yeppers, DC resistance is not AC impedance (though the former does figure into the latter). The one with low DCR might have inductive and or capacitative reactance components that boost its nominal impedance to 16 ohms.

From my limited experience,if it were borked it would measure OL..or the meter would just run on.....:scratch2:
