If you have tried a Loefgen B alignment

Hi, Just to chime in
- Korf's results have been confirmed as ''essentially correct'' by member Balle Clorin, (who's a contributor to this site & L/H), he has the same LP & ran the test with his arm (presumably 9''), confirming it correlated to Korf's result.

- You cannot get an arm to perform U/H alignment unless you actually physically move the arm backwards, you can then use S standard arm (after disconnecting the A/S). But you would need a converter plate to mount the cart on, to get the correct alignment. However I have seen a reverse alignment head-shell on the net somewhere you can buy.

- If you want to try U/H from the standard T/T mounting hole, it could be done, but the Eff length would be around 7'', which is reportedly Viv Labs best sound arm.

- If you are interested in hearing one, just check out your local Yamaha dealer & ask to listen to their Yammy 5000 T/T, which also has a 7'' U/H arm fitted as standard. (What HiFi T/T of the year a couple of years back.)

Cheers

With this anti-skating system, while Fg is constant, the angle changes with the arm swinging inwards, hence the compensation changes (rises)...or what am I missing?
I use the term 'dynamic' to describe the instantaneous changes in skating caused by the music dynamics. The overall shift in compensation you're describing occurs over a much lower rate of change and can be considered constant in relation to the instantaneous, rapidly shifting skating force caused by the music.
