Need more parameters. Kinda like asking cashews or peanuts.

If it were my choice, since I've owned the TLS 80s, I'd pick pretty much anything else. So, I say the KEFs. As long as all we're listening to is classical, opera, all in this genre.

classical of course, jazz, and progressive rock sometimes.

It might be a toss up. The IMFs dig down to 20hz, which for many genres is too much. But not for classical, some jazz and similar. But the IMFs tweeters are showing their age. Which is one of the reasons I sold mine. I'd still probably tip my hat to the KEFs.

thank you for your opinion.

I would suggest you buy new. Tweeter technology has come a long way in 30 years. For the stuff I listen to, who cares. Classical through modern English monitors could cause you to shed a tear.

I haven’t heard the KEF’s but I really like my TLS-50’s

obviously sale price and condition have to be part of your consideration, there’s a mix of new and vintage replacement parts available for the IMFs, some cheap some not so cheap.
