Earlier I had written "Heating effects are negligible IMHO. Not enough to move copper atoms from their sites/“align atoms”."

’m telling you guys that interconnects have made a dramatic difference in my setup.
Without them I can’t hear anything at all.

This whole "align atoms" idea is so beyond ridiculous it isn't even funny. How many atoms do you think "are out of line/missing" in single crystal wire? And out of how many atoms? This is precisely the reason I decided to get the Harmonic Tech Truthlinks (my materials science experiment) in the first place. Single crystal wire has no grain boundaries unless you are running 500+ ft cables. Then you might "have 1".
