The move to the new server is done. There are some software and database maintenance updates in process. This has us passing the hat around to help out. We appreciate any donations. Seriously, even a dollar helps. The payment page may be found here - https://www.audiokarma.org/support.html
How do you know the speaker is blown? Most likely the problem is caused by the amp and preamp needing rebuilt. Turntable is an easy fix, clean and lube. What does tuner out of calibration mean?
Grandpa will be smiling up in heaven watching you restore his old console.
I say go for it. It will be a great learning experience and the pride you'll have showing it off once completed.
Lots of console fans out there to help you.
Once you start, photo document everything!
Cheers, Glenn

Too much of americana has already hit the dumpsters, and these things were as common as bath towels back when I was a kid, today few exist. granted, I dont have room to store or work on these for people so I oft do not, but those who want them, want them a lot and will pay for restored. it will take more time to get it apart than restore (if it has Ge outputs or drivers it will be far more involved if blown) and it will take more than a stray c/l post to sell, but it is noble work.
