Interesting Stereo Ads? Post a pic for memory lane's sake.

The Marantz James Bond System also known as the Pen Compo, the world's smallest component stereo. The "tape deck" is a Walkman style player and all the components have the same footprint. From around 1983 when Philips was selling marantz junk, Marantz of Japan was cranking out killer equipment using both Marantz and UNIX for branding.

The tape player has MIC mixing (Karaoke) and it broadcasts to the FM dial. It kicks out at a respectable 5 watts a channel and is all-metal construction.

A lot of these girls were stars over in Japan and collectors go nuts over the catalogs/brochures today. It would probably be like us collecting Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and even Madonna Swag from the 80's. Madonna did do a campaign over there, I think it was for VHS Machines but other then her or Jennifer, I don't know if there were other cross-overs.

For a short time they were blending telephones with audio equipment and boomboxes. There's some very interesting equipment that used the fusion but it didn't seem to last long.

Jennifer looks like a telephone operator in that ad.

Is that real!!!!

I found a rabbit hole on Pinterest, it looks like she did a ton of JDM ads for audio and clothing. I had only seen the audio campaigns. While American Actors and Bands rarely did TV or commercials here, they were all over Japan.

The R

Is it a hoax? Can't find any info on it.
