Is an NTE605a a direct replacement for an SV-3a diode?

@yo00
If you wouldn’t mind - do you remember how you opened the plastic piece to get to the diode? I can’t seem to figure it out.
Here is a thread I put together a while back on how I repaired an SV-3. I use a dremel tool with a small bit to work around the broken lead, with some extra digging with the tip of a sharp box cutter. It takes maybe 10 minutes or so, being very careful, because the plastic is so hard. But it works well. I have repaired many this way. https://audiokarma.org/forums/threads/salvage-of-an-sv03-diode-from-a-2230.909528/post-13664322
