I happen to be old enough and have been into music long enough to know a lot about this topic. I wasn't born yesterday. I owned Ricky Nelson and Perry Como records. I experienced this whole thing first hand. I watched American Bandstand and Hullaballoo (and Soupy Sales). I was there.
