Is the Carver CT-6 tuner/pre amp any good?

Hi All, I have the CT-6 on the shelve and don't have the right gear to hook it up proper. Is it worth using? I've never heard much about them.

I use one in my office system. Knocks are that it's pretty cramped to work on. Mine had a solder issue on the rca's which ended up being a pretty easy fix. Mines dead quiet, the tuner works well and sounds great. Oh, and use the remote to power on and off. The switch, from what I've read is NLA and pretty fragile.

I bought one new in the mid 90s. I used it exclusively for years with no problems whatsoever. Slim design, great little preamp and that sonic holography can be addicting too. I ran mine to a Carver TFM35. It looks cool, sounds great and like I said, never any problems with mine.

I realize I am replying to a 14 year old post , but I'm wondering if you still have your CT-6 and if you are using it.
