Is There A Thread/Schematic for Putting EFB Into A Scott 7591 Based Unit?

How much voltage overhead is required for the screen regulator portion to do it's job effectively?

By the way, I know this thread is a little old, but the other method by which to determine the voltage overhead needed to run the mosfet is to base it off of heat dissipation in the mosfet.

if you design for 1 watt heat dissipation in the mosfet at max screen current (max power output), you can work backwards from there to determine the drop voltage across the device. That therefore also informs the calculation of the size of the dropping resistor in front of the mosfet.

It dawned on me that’s a good way to do it after discussing the matter further with Dave. That was probably over a year ago, so this is a very belated reply...:(
