Oh come on guys, I've seen countless posts with links to active ebay auctions concerning parts that have not been shifted over to D&S.

Here's one example, thread by title: Russian K40y caps...best place to buy????

How is this any different from pointing out possibly counterfeit tubes on that auction site? That is also done on AK, complete with ebay links.

I didn't think so either, Scuzzer. I'd still like to know what moderator sent this post over to D&S. Is he a friend of Bob or what????

Me neither, as long as it is truly rebuilt with new parts and the description matches the photos, or is a real design and not just a few mods.

With regard to ebay links, a LOT slip through the cracks, and so do other links pointing to techs that make their dough off of tech work. In my mind, that is also dollars and sense, since it concerns money.

Here's the deal. I will say this once and only once. Questioning the moderation team in the open forum is absolutely prohibited. If you do it again, anywhere, you will be given a break from participating on the forum.

I am sure we miss some Ebay links, if you would be so kind as to hit the red triangle icon when you see them then we can get them all moved to the appropriate location. Same goes for anything else that you think is against the rules. We're a small group of people who do this job to help make this place enjoyable for everyone, we can't catch everything every time.

There is nothing wrong with this thread other than your comments.

The reason this thread is in D&S is because the opening post contains a link to a current, live, for sale auction.

This thread is not going to be deleted.

....to change the mood in here, ahem... personally, i'd love to own one of those mono blocks with output trannies that mr. carver himself have wound. as for the other amp, at first glance, i thought it was the packard bell console amp. with same ot on it, i wouldn't pay that much money, but that's just me....

anyways, glad to see him making some money in his later years.
