I notifed eBay and they immediately pulled the listings, then sent me a message indicating that the account had indeed been compromised and was in the process of being restored to it's rightful owner.

A word of caution about eBay accounts; make sure you have a STRONG password and avoid the "Keep me logged on" option on your browser.

The STRONG password has at least 12 characters mixed and MUST include upper and lower case alpha, numbers and at least ONE special character like "$" or "#". No names, no street numbers, no license plates.

Here's an example of a STRONG password: gR9Oz$w3KmZ (not my eBay one, though :D )

Here's an update I believe this was mcsolar :

Please be advised that the following auction:

3091206930 - LK NEW SANSUI TU-X1 AM/FM TUNER JAPANESE MODEL

was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller.
All results for this auction are null and void.

This was a hijacked account and eBay have suspended it. Good work on their part.

Can't blame eBay for a hijacked account - it's up to the user to make sure that they have a secure password - otherwise .... :(

I had sent a note to Ebay's Safe Harbour to let them know that pure-audio_master's real identity used to be mcsolaar. Looks as if they took the appropriate action and kicked him off. And, golly gee, do I feel oh so bad now for Henry :D
