Jamo speaker

Got my jamo speaker fixed,replaced the tweeter with one from a blown pair of jbl speakers,they dont sound half bad,jamo has a huge web site only pair i have ever seen.anyone else have these or am i the only one to let a pair in the cave.

I thought I was the only one with Jamos! I set up a surrond sound system about 13 or 14 yrs ago. I bought a pair of Jamo Cornet 60's for my mains, with a matched center channel. I've been extremely pleased with Jamo's quality sound. Those speakers still rock the house today like they did brand new.

I've got a pair of E640 bookshelf's doing duty in the dining room now, and a D6 sub. Had one of their smaller subs as well, sub 350? or something. I've been very happy with mine. Just A/B the E640 to a pair of JBL 2600's I fixed up last night, the Jamo's won. BTW did you know Klipsch owns Jamo.

JAMO has been quite popular in Europe for years now.
They have yet to make much of an impact here in the US though?
Which is a shame, 'cause some of their speakers fall into the.....good-bang-for-the buck category.

They used to make mostly disco speakers in the '80s. Pretty nice ones, though. Recently they've moved upmarket.

I didn't know Klipsch owns Jamo, have they always??

I bought mine at a high-end shop and compared them to many other top of line brands they carried - I thought the Jamo's sounded better in that class, hands down. I'm not sure why they're not more well known here in the states - I guess more people just need to test drive them to understand.

Jamo was made in Denmark I believe till around 2009. They have some amazing speakers from the earlier era. I've owned many over the last 25 years.
Now mostly made in China... Sad
