BEAUTIFUL pics! You have a good eye. :thmbsp:

It's nice to see some good pics like that for a change, after all the horrific tsumani pics we've been seeing recently. Thanks for sharing those.

I like to gently insinuate myself into a place. That way, hopefully the people don't notice I'm there too much. It's hard in Japan being a fairly big, long-haired oaf, but they seem to dig me once they get used to me. I think it's hard because so many white guys go over here and are rude, obnoxious, disrespectful wankers, so they're naturally suspicious of us (much like eastern europe in that regard).

Observe and absorb. That's what we go to foreign parts for.

Great pics. Bought back a lot of cool memories. I couldn't recognise the castle. Which one is it?

Very nice! I've been to most of those shrines and parks. Love that old train, I used to take those. Those sides streets usually have some very cool place to eat!

Thanks!

That's a pretty long exposure of Hiroshima castle.

Hiroshima is a strange place. Totally lovely, modern and bustling. But, you know how you get that feeling when walking around a graveyard that you must tread lightly and be respectful and reflective? It's like that all over, and everyone else feels it too, even the people that live there.

Beautiful pics. I like the people. I was there one year ago, I had a fantastic time. Visited the Marantz and Sony factory and everything in/around Tokyo.

I highly recommend a visit. I can post some pics if anyone likes.

Ah. That's why it wasn't familiar. Never got the chance to go to Hiroshima. Matsumoto-jo was my favourite FWIW.
