OK guys, before any judgement, I realize that this band and this label were known for New Age music, but I challenge anyone from the Mahavishnu/Eleventh House/RTF fanclub to give this album a serious listen, it's very intense, and ferocious.

Good call MJB! I saw them in 1976 at a small venue and they were definitely a progressive fusion band at that time, an excellent show. They were a Chicago band and this was their debut album before they drifted away into New Age.

Here is an interesting gem, from 1980 Germany. Features former Passport members, Curt Cress on drums, Herman Weindorf on keys, good Euro fusion, with some nice accompaniment. Cool artwork.

Hermann Szobel - Szobel - 1976
After the album’s release, Szobel withdrew from public view, leaving behind one of the most technically intricate and ambitious documents of 1970s jazz-fusion. Bassist Visceglia later joined Spy and became an ongoing collaborator of Suzanne Vega; percussionist Samuels went on to Double Image and Spyro Gyra.
