Anybody familiar with these? $55 sounds not bad for anything JBL. I am currently using a pair of JBL Model 26 (Decade 26), which I like a lot. How would these compare?

Seems to be past their prime.

I have given away newer JBL speakers and not felt bad about it at all.

I would buy them for $55 again.

Some people I've known have liked the sound, but there was a pair near me recently that was on sale for $40-50 for months, and nobody bit. If all drivers are in perfect shape, that seems like an OK price, and I guess you could part 'em out on E-Bay to make the money back if you wanted.

Edit: I think there's a significant difference between the 630 & 630T, can't remember. This model shown seems to have titanium tweets, at least.
