Actually you need to get a grip on reality your last rant was full of jumping to conclusions that don't exist so you need something I highly recommend psychotropic medication.

I'm completely grounded in reality pal. I simply responded to an older post, of which you apparently did not approve. There was no rant made by me. Further, I really couldn't care less in continuing any conversation with the likes of you. LOL.

I'll simply say that the point I was attempting to make obviously went right over your head (big surprise there).

My experience is that there are no books, lists, websites, pamphlets or any other manuals as far as I can tell that list the value of vintage audio gear. Since most of the time, the numbers range all over the map, my observation is that these receivers and such bear what the market will offer. That value is up and down. Having followed the large auction site, I've noticed that some people luck out here and there, and fetch exorbitant (my opinion) prices for their gear, while others might receive a pittance for the same items in the same condition. Therefore, my assertion was that the "value" of an item is in the eye of the beholder.

The fact that you don't seem to recognize that simple concept doesn't strike me as an epiphany.

Excellent speakers.

I remember Infinity speakers from when I was a kid. They were desirable then and I know they have a pretty good following of collectors today. I don't recall that model RS 2.5. They sure seem to have the ability to reproduce the horn section pretty well. You show the rear section of the upper portion and it appears to be filled with the crossover electronics. Is there a tweeter or midrange up top in front of the upper section, behind the fabric grill or is its presence strictly to house the electronics?

regarding infinity ??? There is 2 emit ribbon tweeters one front firing the other rear firing. There are 2 Semit ribbon midranges on the front upper baffle. Not crossover work was done nor required! That is not a heatsink you see but a potentiometer for the semits....

Holy SMOKES. I went to another site and he had a whole bunch of photos posted. Those are full of tweeters and midranges. Interesting that they have a rear firing Emit as well as a front firing one. Those speakers are monstrous compared to other infinity boxes I'm used to seeing. I was unfamiliar with the Semit midranges until you posted, but then I'm kind of a JBL guy. Nice looking and sounding speakers!
