A couple of pairs have sold recently on eBay for close to $500, although another pair sold for about $200 and still another failed to sell for $300.

I'd say $250 is a nice for the buyer local price. You could probably get more without shipping if you are patient.

It doesn't look as though you are low on speakers. If it were me, I'd pass at that price. I've had them simultaneous to L112s and felt the L112s were better.

On the other hand, if you have been wanting L96s, they might well cost you that much on eBay, plus the shipping.

I've had L112s since they were new and I've had my L96 for maybe four years. The Deltas are fantastic speakers and I've often called them my Desert Island speakers because they simply work well with anything. They're essentially the same size as the L112 and I think the 10-inchers work well in the big box. Perhaps the 12-inchers in the L112 could use a bit more space and I really prefer the heavier bass of the 12-inch 3-ways over the 10-inch when they're placed properly. I'm not picking one over the other but I will agree that an excellent pair of L96s, properly re-surrounded, should be worth $500, or more, if compared to anything else out there. I found it hard to pass-up the ones I bought years ago for a price around $200 with brand new JBL re-cones in them which I think are no longer available (at least not in white).

If you're looking for a good deal, anything under $300 will do it. If you just want to enjoy a pair, pay more but make sure they're in excellent shape!
