JBL L166 Value?

ebay price???

Way to many zeroes for my taste. Send the seller an email offering a 1/2 price for them. The value of anything on ebay is directly equal to what buyers are willing to pay and not a penny more.
Don't be fooled like other buyers by assuming the asking price is THE price for an item. Far from it. More to be considered is a GW or local price. This is the real price for the item. Not an inflated "make the seller happy" price.

Was thinking about the "cloth" repair job on these (I have since acquired them, and agree..WOW)..and in case that nice couple reads AK..I would just like to say THANK YOU for even attempting a repair. I cannot count the times my heart has been broken, finding awesome speakers at the usual "haunts", only to find Radio Shack, or some sort of car audio woofers in the boxes. Kudo's to this couple for the effort, and saving them!

Glad you took them. I was worried about passing them along, as I wanted to honor the original owner's wishes to have them be appreciated and loved. They have such a nice grain pattern in the wood, and those expensive tweeters still sounded so fresh and precise. Really the only issue with them was reversing their surround "repair". Now, if I can just get my L220's to look and sound as nice! You saw how rough they were...

Thanks again..and it was great meeting you! Cannot wait until you get those L220's restored and post pics. I may have to take special trip to Dallas to see/listen to them!

I'l start the re-foam process soon, but I may save the cabinet and grill work until I move this summer. I just don't have the space here to start working on those huge cabinets.
