Good score! Good price as well. The 035Tia tweeters are worth the price by themselves. They are the same as in the 4412 and many others.

I used to have some of those but mine were in a darker veneer. Once I refoamed them they were excellent sounding speakers.

IIRC, these may be GordonW's favorite JBL's. Search the old threads on the JBL L80t, and you'll find many GordonW recommendations/opinions.

Getting the t3 versions is a score. They have a much better crossover design compared to the L80T. Also, getting them for $60 is another great deal for a pair of L80t3's. You are on a role. Those are the first t3 versions I have seen in oak veneer. Have you fired up the L7s yet?

The l7s are missing the the connectors to run with just a single amp, going to make some this weekend. They are in the process of being cleaned up and will get them going this weekend finaly have an extra day off.Seems like Im always working.:yes:Next will be the L80t3 cleanup and check them over have not heard them yet though.

I have an office in the basement and use a pair of L80t3s along with a Sony GX69ES receiver as my listening setup while working. They are a very nice sounding speaker. They also don't need more than a good, clean 100 wpc to sound really good. I set the receiver to "source direct" and bypass all tone controls. The L80t3s sound great without any tweaking, IMO.

Major Score. LOVE mine. GordonW is a fan, and they are Zilch approved™ FWIW. They are a consumer-packaged studio monitors. Nice, flat response, with true 20khz+ response. Takes a little getting used to. They sound best about 6" up off the floor (I have the original stands)

When I get my own listening space, I want some speakers like that. I have some L20t3's which are quite nice for the space I have now. I'm not using them (using some Advent Graduates) right now, but I figured for $6 they were worth the investment. Too bad I didn't find them first, as I would have saved myself $64. Ah well. Can you really have too many speakers?

I have a pair of JBL 4410 Studio Monitors. They are loaded with the same drivers as is the L80T series. I purchased mine new and will never let them go, unless they go to my son in the future. I refoamed and oiled mine last winter and put them back into the rotation. They sound fantastic! I picked up an M&K subwoofer this winter and have it running with the JBLs. They fill in the low end very nicely, without taking away from the neutral sound of the monitors.

You definitely have a fine pair of speakers and made a great deal on the price!
