JICO SAS Stylus For Shure M97XE

Got my hands on a Jico SAS today for Shure M97xE. Just about to start testing this. What I would like to know now is how long break in time there is with this stylus if there is such a thing with it?

I just put the Jico SAS on my M97xE and right out of the package, all I can say is WOW...I really think this is the best cartridge I have ever heard. I thought the Audio Technica AT-130E and Ortofon 540 MKII(among others) were good carts, but wait a minute....they are in the minor leagues...The combination of the Shure M97xE and Jico SAS takes things to another level, and I think the sound is limited only by your system. I still have an Ortofon 2M Blue and an Audio Technica AT-150MLX to audition....but I'm not sure I want to open the boxes at this point. Forget what a stock M97 sounds like...the Jico takes it to another level....I'm just flabergasted...I'm hearing things I never knew were on some of my albums...UNREAL..

Not to sound repetitive but I just got my hands on a Jico for my M97ex and oh yes a very noticeable difference in the mid to high range but in a good way. She sounds fantastic on the Dual 1219 outstanding!

I grabbed the M97xE for a backup table I'm fixing up (BIC 960) and I don't like the sound of the Shure stylus at all (compared to my V15III with EVG stylus, Technics SL-3350). I'm contemplating whether I should just buy another V15III+EVG or if I should upgrade the M97xE with a Jico SAS. It would probably cost about the same.

My advice? If the costs are comparable, go with the SAS. In my experience, the SAS is a slightly better match to the M97xE body than to the V15 III.
