JVC QL-F4 questions

My tone arm goes slightly too far when starting an album automatically. It lands a few grooves into the first song. How can I adjust this so it lands in the correct position?

I don’t have your exact model but sometimes there is the adjustment screw near the pivot point of your tonearm. My QL -A7 has one adjustment for arm pickup and it’s on the inside left of the tonearm; access via a small hole with a flat blade screwdriver.

Some of my other models have the same adjustment for both set down for play and pickup at the end. Check out Vinyl Engine for a owners manual. I have obtained mine for my JVC models. it will be there in the owners manual.

The adjustment screw should be directly under the round rubber/plastic stopper to the left of the tone arm pivot.

Remove the stopper and use a long thin screw driver to adjust. :)

Thanks for the advise Balifly - it worked like a charm! Thank you, too, desertrat!

No worries. Almost no one will answer on a JVC table. I own a couple and didn’t want to leave you hanging.

Sorry to mention that most are covered by a small rubber plug. And sometimes one is the return adjustment and another one is the lead in. If you can get the owners guide pdf file for your model it will be a big help.
