Did you mention selling something, that is strictly prohibited except in the BarterTown section of the Subscribers area

Yes, I did ask about the value in the turntables section. That was a mistake. Then, I asked about the value in Dollars and sense. I don’t remember saying I intend to sell the table; however, honestly, if I own a piece of equipment and ask the value, how many different reasons do I have for asking the value?
funny enough, my subscription ended this week and if I were intending on selling it on Audiokarma, I wouldn’t have let the subscription lapse…

Doesn't matter, you can't mention selling in the open forums. Period.
You can't post links to BarterTown listings in open forums either. Seen that a couple times lately, not saying it was you.
Just say you need the value for insurance purposes.
Or someone has one for sale and you want to know what AK thinks is a fair price for the one you're looking at.

Same thing really. Mid-80s high quality turntables. Difference is the tonearms.

As I often do when trying to help out, I spent probably 20 minutes or so Google that tt and the s tonearm. Almost every image showed the straight arm.
I did see maybe a couple loose s arms.
Were they an option that could be bought separately? Or maybe used/sold on overseas tables?
It seems several know they may have been an option and to ask about them compared to how many images I found.
And before anyone asks, I did not look at every image on the internet.

I'm actually looking at a KP-990 also. I haven't heard the high end JVCs, but their reputation is excellent. I had a Denon DP-62L for a bit and have the Pioneer PL-50L II. I'd say the two were about equal. With all those high end DD turntables from that era, it's splitting hairs unless you're really going big with the GT-2000, Pioneer Exclusive and those very top end ones.
