I really like that TT and owned one in the early 1980"s but $500 seems VERY high. I wouldn't go much over $200. (The Sansui SR-838 is a better table IMHO and they seem to be popping up in the 200-250 range lately)

I somewhat disagree. The JVC has better s/n ratio (rumble) specs and those high-end JVCs work fantastic with a MC cartridge. I have a QL-Y5F which succeeded the QL-A6 a couple years later, and it came equipped with an Ortofon MC20. I consider it better than my Denon DP-52F and at least equal to my Pioneer PL-630. At $500, might be a little high so offer $300 and see what happens.

the guy selling this turntable wont budge i offered him 300.00 he came backe with 480.00 so ill pass on it. in the future ill look for one or a denon. thnax brad

That price might be fair for a QL-10, and that's just a guess.
He is asking about twice the QL-7's value.
