I recently bougth some small stuff rom the same guy off of ebay he has 100% positive feedback. Looks like packs pretty well too. Crossing my fingers (no banana dance just yet).

No pics yet, but it arrived safe and sound. It was double boxed, bubble wrapped and lots of peanuts between the two boxes. It las the light out, has some scratchiness in the controls, which i am not too worried about.
The part I really don't like is that when I hooked it up to my 500 integrated's AUX none of the sources (CD/TT/Tuner/Cassette) sounded clear or any good really. I am getting a 700M (EW'd) next week and will do another try no low volume to see what is up. I was ready to shell out for some serious refresh, but expected a bit better shape (like my Marantz 3650).
Will post pics once the amp arrives.

Congratulations Sancho22! You were fast! You scored both 700c and 700m-EW and the only thing missing now is the tuner? I was able to get a 700m but it will take a while until I get a 700c, these are so rare...

I believe this preamp needs an overhaul, at least all the electrolitics replaced to sound at its best.

Let us know how it goes and post some pictures of your new rig...

Well guys I have to say that paired with the 700M the 700C shows barely any issues besides the burnt out indicator light and slightly scratchy volume knob. Even the phono stage works very well. I still think it needs an overhaul but it seems that I can listen to it for a while on moderate levels. My EPI 180 sing beyond belief...
