Trio KA 8700

Anybody familiar with this amp? Specs? Is this the baby brother of the KA 9100? Thank a lot for any info.

I searched everywhere in my DB, at hifido and the japanese Yahoo... no KA-8700.

If you could post an image it would help.

correction: KA-8700 seemingly a Japan-only version of a worldwide unit. But which one I don't know.

looks similar to the KA 9100 including the meters (up to 200 watts). cant post pictures yet as it is still under check up at the shop. tks

Trio IS Kenwood.

The Kenwood name was an offshoot of the original name for the company,Trio.

I think the trio 8700 is the japanese version of the Kenwood KA801. In the completed auctions it says 115 watts @8ohms . Anybody have any expwerience with the KA 801? keeper? tks

Likely a decent amp, but if you're looking at a Japanese model, you need to make sure that is can handle 120V (I'm assuming that you are in N. America), since Japanese components use 100V.

face the same research to find a japanize version of the KA-9100.
So finally TRIO KA-7700D an exact match KA9100.

My Trio KA-8700 is still in the box which came from Japan 2 years ago need to pick up the amp from a neighbour he stored the box
Well one of this days inbetween listen to the L-07Mk2 setup
