I have owned both, and thought the 907 sounded better, loved mine. You'll be amazed by how big that amp is, and how well its built. Take the volume knob off and see for yourself!

guy offered me a second offer on ebay im going to see how it compares to the sound of my other intagrated amps. my wife told me that this is the last amp i am buying and i need to start selling some.so i feger to keep her happy im going to have to start selling some of my collection

Never heard the 600, but I understand it´s first class.

I did own a KA-907. Never heard a better integrated.

Congrats Georgedannyg! Did you get the bumpers?

I think you will enjoy your 907 very much. The ring emitter outputs require the amp and preamp be in good tune. I was visiting my tech today and he had one in the shop. He mentioned the bias needs to be set for both the amps and the preamp to get best performance.

Not to put a damper on things but...

I would be a bit worried about the shipping. Seller has shipping cost listed as $15 (!!!) flat rate shipping to anywhere in the US. That thing is a beast and properly packed shipping weight will be at least 70 lbs. I would contact the seller and see how he intends to pack it.

And Sam, the 907 you saw at Tom's yesterday is mine. :D

Acquired it recently, it sounds great, but just wanted Tom to check and adjust. The service manual has procedures for adjusting the preamp offset voltage, tone control offset voltage, power amp offset voltage, power amp bias current.

i contact the seller and told him how to pack it but as we all know they never listen i hope it gets here safe and sound because im worried about it ever time i tried to bid on one it would go way over what i was welling to spend im keeping my fingers crossed:beatnik:

Congrats calabashak! You can't have too many KA-907's!! BTW, your new 907 is in great shape. Tom submitted my 907 to a square wave test and while the basic shape of the wave forms was very good, we observed ringing. Tom tells me an adjustment per the service manual will improve this so I'll have mine in for some TLC.

My first magical audio moment came with a KA-907, a 1st gen pioneer cd player and a pair of DQ-10's - the imaging and soundstage blew me away.....

ka 907

my new baby will be here tomarrow it even comes with the owners manual and the rack handle and the original box man in pumped hope it gets here in one piece:banana:

Hope it gets to you safely!

I picked one of these up off of A-Gon a while back and love it. It's WAY bigger than I would have imagined...I was thinking a KA-801 on steroids, when in fact it's a completely different animal!

Looking forward to hearing your impressions
