Kenwood KX-1030 Speed change issues and Channel Distortion

I got a KX-1030 recently and I changed the belts and upon testing I realised that the speed adjusts itself sometimes? it switches from slow to fast every once in a while by itself no matter how much I adjust it, and ontop of that my left channel has some like tape noise/distortion only heard during play back especially when a song ends/about to begin. Any guides to what components I should order to replace? Or help on what the issue could be?

I just replaced the belts on my kx-1030 and hope you might be able to help me, after installing the new belts it is running a little slow. Is there anywhere to adjust the speed on the kx-1030? Any advice would be much appreciated.
